What about getting around these to put your feet
down at a stop ??? Mine sometimes are in the way

Installed and went for a short ride with the new Thunder pegs this weekend (low 80's, sunny here in FL).
Very comfortable and great to stand up on. Foot down at stop was not a problem for me.
You do have to bend the kick stand lowering peg just a bit to clear the new foot pegs. This is not a big deal as it bent easily. Now that I bent it, I realized i should have done that for the stock pegs as well.

I think most people just cut it off.
Bent mine much more than was suggested. I like to use my heel to put the stand down.
I really really like how little effort it takes for these jumbo pegs to fold up.
When backing the bike up, I just move my calves right into them. They lift and allow me a much longer stroke for moving backwards.
I'm very happy with them. I wasn't so sure I would be.

Yep, I too fold'em up with my calf while at stop; they just get out of the way!
