Well, after much deliberation on which exhaust to get, I settled on the Arrow Ti / CF slipon.
I prefer the look of Wasps exhaust but I got such a good price of $495 delivered on the Arrow through Pipecity.com that I decided to go that way and put the extra money saved toward the PC V.
I got the Arrow today and the install was super easy. After only a few moments riding with it, I can say, BIG IMPROVEMENT!
It revs so much easier and has really smoothed out the rough spot at 3200rpm and the stutter at 4400rpm.
I am running it with the baffle in right now until I put the PC V in but can already tell what a great improvement it is.

Here are some pics and a video, enjoy.

Sounds great. Will be even better when I can pull the baffle once the PC V is in. Check the video link below the pics. I could not figure out how to embed it.

it runs fine with the baffle out and no power commander although you wont get the full benefits without one it wont do it any harm long term to run it without and boy does it make a difference letting it breath freely, i have the leo vinci which is exactly the same pipe bar the sticker

I will try it today with the baffle removed before I install the PCV just to have something to compare against.

Are the LV and Arrow really the same?? Looking at the Pipe City site the Arrow is $62 cheaper (in Ti) and $172 cheaper is you go Alum. Seems like a pretty awesome deal for the Arrow and SpeedStar's video has me sold as long as motor performance is not an issue if run w/o a PCV.

The Leo and the Arrow are not the same pipe. May have same benefit and similar construction and materials, but not the same design.
The Arrow has and elongated diamond / rounded shape and IMHO a nicer looking CF endcap shape.
It also has separate carbon fiber hangers that allow you to position the silencer parallel with the exhaust shield.

The Leo is round with a more angular squared off endcap.

The angle that the silencer sits was a sticking point with me and what steered me away from the Leo and the Remus.
If you look at pics of them, they hang down lower at the rear and do not follow the lines of the shield.

Akrapovic, Arrow and Waspworks follow these lines much better IMO.

As far as performance, the Leo and Arrow are probably the same as are any of the others I would think.

John, cool! Glad to help. Did you go Ti or Alu?

Roy, I did not weigh it if you can believe that. Too excited to get it on. I would say it is less than half the weight of the stock silencer. I think I remember Wasp saying that the stock was just over ten lbs. I could be wrong though.
This thing was way lighter though.

I've ordered a Blue S10 and will replace the exhaust certainly.

I'm not sure wich one , but certain quality-things frighten me :
The Arrow from our greek friend for example seems to be not so tighten :

The CF endcap is a shroud around the exhaust pipe and not connected to it. Mine looks fine, there is a small space, but not noticable unless you are under it and looking up at that area.

OK. But when I order a muffler I whant to be sure about the quality.

Leo seems nicer in comparaison with the arrow-pic I posted :

Glad yours is fine and indeed it follows really nice the lines from the bike.

Ugh, Pipe City just called - apparently Arrow (in Italy) takes the month of August off for Vacation so no stock available on the Ti version BUT Arrow did ship extra stock of the Alum version so I guess I am going with Alum instead of Ti (I'm impatient) which is only $385 so more cash for some other doodads - Yea

Maybe it has more to do with the shape of the Arrow contoured endcap panels coming together and meeting the way they do around the pipe. I can tell you, in person it comes across looking top quality IMO.
If that is an issue for some, then the Leo might be an option.

that was my point, there wont be any difference in power or even sound since they are pretty much identical ;)

Excuse the question (if it is a dumb one) but why do all of the pipes I have seen still have the BIG SILVER COVER installed? Is it required?

Thanks

The exhaust shield is not required, but if you take it off, there is a big ugly gap from the pillion peg hangers inward to the silencer. It looks even worse like that.
You could take them off too though.

That is why I made my exhaust shield masks to cover up some of the silver shield and make it blend in better. :)
