Gents,
I bought a second hand Arrow Alloy slip on can for my 12reg ST10. However when I removed the OE silencer and offered up the Arrow can to the mid pipe, it looks to be far to small to go over the mid pipe? Did they change the diameters of the pipe, the instructions state a 1200 10/11 super tenere, mine is a blue bike and therefore probebly a 2011 model anyway.
Any ideas would be most welcome.

I had to use a pipe expander on mine to open it up a little to fit the mid-pipe. Some said they didn't have to do this so not sure if they had a change in their production. I also had to use a 2" exhaust bracket to keep the pipe from leaking as the bracket it came with didn't work well after expanding it. Once I did that it was all good. Love the sound.

Ok Guys swift update,
Well I have been a wally, never try to do something in the garage at night when you haven’t got your specs with you. In the bright sunlight it was obvious what the problem was (apart from me that is) I was trying to get it over the graphite gasket which was a nonstarter.
As soon as I removed it and realised it was dry fit it went straight on. Mellow thanks for the info I was ready to apply heat and a stretching exercise on the pipe.
Result, appears to me that it revs freely without any hesitation to the redline and also seems smoother as well. So money well spent and a lesson for those who don’t know, list your eBay items properly.
I was watching a genuine touring screen and was successful in the bid, looked at the sellers other items and there was the exhaust with about 7 minutes to go with no bids. At a start price for an unmarked Arrow can I thought that’s odd £150?
That’s until I looked the listing and it was thrown in the general tuning, motorcycles, exhaust, and so on. So I threw in a cheeky bid and was the only bidder .
Rode it today after having the last two outings on my ZX10, it is a really quick way to get from A to B in comfort.

Regards

No problem. Mine was tight even without the gasket so I had no choice to stretch it a little.
