I purchased the Arrow Headers for my 2020 Super Tenere. Everywhere i've read indicate they are compatible. However the end of the headers is smaller diameter than stock so the muffler pipe that fits over it is too large. Not sure what i'm supposed to do to fill that gap? Was a gasket supposed to come with arrow headers? Am i supposed to purchase one separately somewhere ?

Good reason to buy the Arrow slip on as well ;) . Haven’t got a serious answer to your question. But someone here will know.

They should fit with no issue.

Yes, reuse the gasket as I did several years ago and still going strong. Really good mod when dynoed.

i don't have a gasket.
It either stayed in the stock muffler, stuck on the stock pipe or fell on the floor. They don't just disappear. Put some grease on the gasket before trying to slide it on the pipe. These type gaskets are delicate and easy to destroy when installing.

Were you get your headers from, looking for a set, but running into road blocks.

Same here. Would like to find some in the US with pricing. Who is the go to for a cat bypass?
They are available, I got a set from a supplier that will custom order, I had to prepay and it did take nearly 3months but it came in the time frame given by supplier.
I'm in Canada, in US it should be way easier for you to source these out.

I went to ebay and just ordered a set. Haven't used ebay for a while and hope it works out. Sounds like you already have yours and installed. How did the install go? No additional parts needed? I'm not changing out the muffler. Mostly doing this to bypass the cat without gutting it.

So the arrow headers showed up from italia to the midwest, took about 2 weeks, ordered off ebay from 'isle of man', was their name. Arrow is some nice stuff. All the parts needed are included. The springs are a nice touch, and includes a nice spring puller that will go to the tool box. Didn't need to remove the muffler, after installing the two primaries, the collector can be finagled onto the primaries and muffler together, the muffler has a rubber mount so it can be moved a little and leave the primaries loose till everything assembled. They include a packet of metallic something or other, looks like antiseize. Make sure to use it on the slip joints. The rear lower mount that uses a bolt was off and I noticed the oem piece had a slot for the nut to slide for and aft. I went to a 1/4" bolt same length and used that since I didn't want to put things in a bind and leave them ala natural. The secondary to muffler gasket stayed in the muffler after I removed the oem piece. Make sure to unfasten the connectors for the O2 sensors before you unscrew them, you don't want to be twisting the wires. Everything fit good, I'd give them a 10 out of 10. I'd guess the arrow headers weight at half the oem piece.

Agreed, nice kit. But don’t like the Alu brackets that hold the bushing (I guess) to the engine. Torqued them to spec but they do bend. Alu don’t like that. I seem to recall that @~TABASCO~ sells stainless steel ones for that reason. I will probably end up buying a set from him. The antiseize was supposed to go between the sliding bits huh? The crappy manual that was included didn’t mention a thing where to use it so I used it on the threads.

Are you guys getting the ecu remapped to go with the Arrow headers? I’ve got a set of headers but am waiting to get the funds for a setup day on a dyno before fitting them.

Yeah, the manual was a little vague. I was cautious with the aluminum flange that held the inserts, I knew they would bend so I was easy on them, doesn't take much to hold them, you just don't want the nuts backing off. Yeah, you want the anti seize or whatever they call it on the slip joints, think I even put some on the joint between the collector and muffler. That little bit in the packet doesn't look like much but a little goes a long ways. Everything on mine fit really nice together except for the rear lower mounting hole, that was forgiveable.

And if you don't have anti seize for the slip joints you can use grease though it may be a little messier. I used grease on the copper flange gaskets to hold them in place while I installed the flanges. On some slip joints grease is used to seal the connection. I ran into an issue one time with air entering the exhaust prior to the O2 sensors because the joints were sloppy. You don't want that happening with an efi setup.

And I may end up using nylock nuts if these come loose, I just didn't have any metric on hand.

After the install I fired mine up, the sound is a little deeper, the pulses out the muffler a little more pronounced. It seems to run with a little more 'stuff' which I'd expect. Air in, air out is the recipe for horsepower. I'm thinking about the ecu remap. I'm going to check my throttle body balance first and see if that helps my off idle weakness. I'd like to see it a little richer at idle than the factory 14.5 or .7 they use. It would make quite a bit of difference. I was sitting at a light and getting ready to move out and the engine quit when I started to twist the throttle. It was cool out and the engine wasn't warm yet. I can stand the weakness off idle but dying doesn't work for me, that may have been the weather or the headers.
