I bought a set of mint condition shiney Arrow headers of a guy on this forum,i have fitted them and they are now discolouring fast,on the first bend when they leave the head they are starting to go blue and the rest of the downpipes are turning a gold straw colour,is this normal? The bike has an ecunleashed map and an Akra can,it also suffers with surging around 2k rpm.it did this before but it's worse with the Arrows on,is it too lean?(hence the blueing),will this cause damage to the engine?

The color is normal. Bump up the CO if you have a 12/13 and bump up the air screw and sync on any year. Will help / fix your stumble.

Bump the CO up on the dash... Maybe start at +3... If that helps but doesn't fix it bump it up to +5.. Some folks years ago had been playing with +10..... +15..... Ive not found any need to go that high....

I've got an OEM workshop manual,i imagine it will show me how to access the dash to adjust the CO

Yes it should..... The only 'trick', is temporally grounding the MINT green wire that is assonated with the tip over sensor under your seat... Its the bundle of wires that are wrapped in electrical tape... cut, extend, and ground the side that heads back to the ECU..... Then get into the dash.... Then you will need to re connect the green wire so it will work properly in the future....

With a search, I'm sure there are still articles on step-by-step..... maybe even by me, I forgot.... :)

My arrow headers looked bad when I got them a year or so ago. They really look bad now. I contacted revzilla and told them they looked like shit. They said I could return them or get sum revzilla bux. I took the $90 revzilla bux. Revzilla has good customer service IMHO

Wonder what an American equivalent is to that Harpic Power Plus Max 10 is?

That was pretty cool video.

I gotta ask though, is it Arrows to blame that the headers look so nasty after exposure to the typical ADV environment?
Isn't it just metallurgy?
I actually really like mine. They seem to deliver exactly what was expected.
