I just got confirmation for my ferry tickets to Ireland in July for the Armoy road races, the digs are booked as well, roll on July and my annual fix of Irish road racing, ::012:: I went to the Cookstown 100 last year for the first time and loved every minute of it ::008:: so I'm working my way round the different fixtures, and might do the Tandragee 100 next year but being April you take what you get weather wise! For anyone who hasn't been before, it's a great scene followed by fanatics who are warm and friendly and great with advice and tips, and you can ride the course before they close the roads on Friday, and it's then you say "How the hell do they carry that much speed on here"? the roads are bumpy and it shows.........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfCgFIkOquY
If you have been to the IOM and seen road racing there, you'll know you don't get to see much more of the track than one place all day, Irish road racing is so different with smaller tracks and ease of movement between races, and quite often a lot closer to the action! ::001::

One thing you'll be guaranteed to see is a Dunlop! I parked my bike in the paddock next to Williams van because I forgot to bring a puck for parking in the field  we were next to Joey's brother Jim in the stands at one point, and what made it special the weather was kind with only a few light showers on Saturday morning and then dried up for a cracking race day after ::012::
