Going on a two week trip to Arkansas pulling our toy box with a FJR and KLR on the 13 th. Any special roads you guys can offer? The Wife & I will be off of 70 between Hot Springs and Little Rock. we have picked out 7 , 27, and 16 for the FJR. We have lots of roads for the KLR close to the Rv Park but always looking for more. Any other roads you guys can recommend  First time to to spend time in Arkansas.

Ive got some for you...... Let me go get my map....... Ill be back....

Don't know how far west you want to go, but a great day trip out of Hot Springs is west on 270... south on Cr375 to FR76 ... back to 270.. to 71 and 28 and 270 to Oklahoma.... turn around go back to Hot Springs... That's nice !! Most all in the green area in the forest is cool

Another is Hatfield go east on CR402 - to - 375 and make your way to Norman.... Look on Google maps....

Another Ive done out of Hot Springs.... 7 to 5 going east on Hot Springs Highway to Little Rock was good too..

There's a really cool two lane highway that goes north out of Russellville. I grew up around there, but it's been a long time since I was there. It goes up through the Ozarks and has some awesome twisties. If you have the time, go to the north end of the run and you'll find some amazing zig zag climbs and descents. Arguably one of the most scenic highways in North America.

Don't know how far north you expect to get, but if you make it near the Fayetteville area on a day ride, and you want to see something fairly unique, visit the Terra Studios.

As others have said - LOTS of great roads in Arkansas!!!!!

I just spent a few days at mill creek in April riding both my Husky te250 and trail modded Honda cr250r, but have been riding in the area for quite a few years. It may be ATV trials, but there is no way in hell I would want to be on a big bike on 3/4 of the trails, way too steep up and down w/o good traction for something like a ST, unless you are wanting some broken bones. I have only seen one big bike there and it was Scott Harden riding a KTM 950 only doing part of it in 2005.A K:LR could make through most of it if its not wet. There is some stuff you can get to from one side without the steep up and downs. Lots of less difficult stuff in the area for the big bikes though, look up RL Lemke's ozark fall color tour on ADVrider, lot of post about it. He had a adv bike track and route set up but I never did it, I found them and attached the garmin GDB files. The BS05 file is all twisty pavement sections of many of the best roads in AR

That looks like a great place to ride.

That's off of 23 so we may have to check that out.

We can do the ATV thing on another trip.

Thanks!

Well we made it back from our vacation Yesterday around 5:30 and I must say it was the best vacation we have had. The wife and I had a great time. We put in over 1500 miles on the bikes. About 400 on the KLR and 1150 on the FJR. We rode a number of roads you guys posted. All were fine roads. We found Mill Creek, purchased a long sleeve t-shirt and talked to the guy in the office about the place. Looks like more of a rock crawler 4X4 and ATV place. We may check it out with ATV's on another trip.
Thursday afternoon I went to fire up the truck to go to the store and a Squirrel had decided to end his and my Radiators life. He was under my hood and when I got up to about 45MPH he hit the fan, exploded and bones took out the radiator. :'( $1760.00 and one day later we had our fixed clean truck back. The good news is my auto insurance will repay me all but $500.00 of it. :)

We will be going back to Arkansas but Next trip will be to Big Bend in October with the wife and our new Big Super XT :)
