I went by 3 dealers today wanting to look at a 2014 model. . . All three dealers said they were sold out of their stock and were waiting for the 2015s. Soooo, does anyone know if sales are better this year, or did the dealers just not order very many ? One of the dealers even had a new 2012 model that hasn't sold.

I've heard the same thing here n SW Florida but the truth is the dealer don't stock them because they can't sell them. My three nearest dealers never had a 2014 and one still has a 2013 on the floor. S10's here are like unicorns! ::025::

I believe they are significantly better. Romney had told me the V-Strom 650 was a huge seller in 2013. I asked them a few months ago if that was the case again this year. They told me the both the little Strom and the '14 Teneres were selling well this year.

The dealerships I have been too told me that they would not order one unless you put money down. The just did not sell and a dealership hates to have a bike sitting there.

Yeah, one of the dealerships that I went by said he doesn't stock them because its a bike that people love to look at, just not buy. Then he said, " We can get one, we just don't stock them." When I informed him, that I would have to throw a leg over the bike to see how it felt, before committing to a purchase he said, " Go to a dealer that stocks them, and take a look at it. If you like it, then come back here and we will order you one." ::) ::). Yeah ok, I left.

Doesn't surprise me. Inventory is usually not an issue at Romney. They are one of the biggest, if not the biggest sellers of Teneres in the country. They usually have at least one on the floor.
