ARD cases - taken off sale

Pair of 8" wide ARD case panniers , and Quick Release Hepco & Becker racks suitable for 2014 on ZE. ( you can remove the racks in under a minute and the mounting points are hardly visible)
The boxes are TIG welded 2mm aluminium, powder coated black, and no rivets .
Come complete with all mounting hardware, and a pair of custom inner bags.

The boxes are 3 months old , and have been used on one weekend trip only. They are a bit more than I think I need luggage wise as we will only be going away for the odd weekend. ( I'll be keeping the S10 if I don't find a good deal with my advert )

The are 2" narrower than the bars when fitted

The total cost was £700 for the set up

How about £450 collected for the lot, and I'll even provide a fitting service

I May consider a part exchange for a pair of standard OEM boxes in silver if the deal is right....

Hi Bryn

I'm British but live in France - you may have seen my advert for a pair of silver panniers and firtting kit below. I have Bumot panniers (I had the opposite problem to you re capacity ! )

I obviously don't need the Ardcases but if you need a pair of the silver Yamaha ones (in excellent condition) and can't get a swap let me know. I just need rid of them so a good price will be offered.

Hi Bryn,

I've got a cheeky question: please could you give me the inner dimensions of the rack (horizontal and vertical, perpendicular to the frame, doe's that make sense?)

Reason I'm asking is because I've already got a pair of ARDcases on my KTM990 Adv (which has a "Hepco and Becker" rack) and want to fit them on my soon to be purchased S10 (fingers crossed) and the Hepco and Becker rack looks like the best option.

Darrin, do you mean the internal size of the hoops? if so they are 310mm front to back, and 185mm top to bottom, but they are not square, they are canted slightly forwards.... if your ARD cases were on a H&B rack I'd have thought they were all the same... FYI the rack I have is 20" wide when on the bike and puts the panniers a symmetrical distance apart from the centre line of the bike..... this leaves a bit of a gap on the offside (right) but looks better IMHO

The boxes are 8" wide which makes the whole set up 36"

Just what I wanted, the 310mm is the same, but the vertical measurement on mine is 210mm. Looks like i'll have to drill a few new holes
