can i ask the brake lever the other side to lower it a bit is the adjustment on the pushrod at the clevis at the rear

Yes, the only adjustment for the brake-lever is the clevis on the pushrod for the master-cylinder.
There should be a nut on the end, and possibly a roll-pin?
I've never needed to adjust my brake lever, only my shifter.

I had to adjust mine when I got some klim boots which have a huge toe box. The lock nut adjustment does it fine without having to remove from splines. Loosen the lock nuts and just turn the linkage by hand.
