Anyone know what this is?

I just picked up a used ST last week and have been going over it and found this under the seat but it wasn't plugged in but there is matching plug there also and it was grounded. Got any ideas what it is? I don't want to plug it in to see what it does out of fear of frying the electronics.

Looks like someone put together a relay & wiring to power up auxillary lighting. :-\

Thanks 1tronn, I think you're right! When I take off all the body work and change the air filter, I'll track the pigtail down. Today, I changed the oil and the rear pumpkin oil, added the Wunderlich tank pads, the larger foot, and the Yamaha wind deflectors. Tomorrow it's going to be a sunny 80 degrees and I'll take a few hundred mile ride to get acquainted with the new steed.
