Anyone have experiance with Monoprice ? Looks interesting for sure !

Hey guys,

A friend hit me up the end of last week asking me about the company Monoprice. https://www.monoprice.com/ I didn't know anything about them and then started reading over the weekend. Its pretty shocking the prices they offer for many electronics. I myself, thought it was just cheep junk till I started reading reviews all over the net. But for me, what is even MORE shocking are all the good, great, or even outstanding reviews that are all over the internet.. I spent a bit of time this weekend looking over you-tube reviews, and third party print reviews with most giving the brand rave quality and sound reviews... Anyhow, thought it might be interesting to throw this out if you haven't come across this company or there products before. I will have to try some speakers soon.. Why NOT ! LOL

Looks as if my buddy will be ordering a whole set of home speakers from them and maybe a new set of ear buds to boot, for $6.00 *don't laugh, they get EXCELENT reviews..

Monoprice is super cheap because they have no middle man and just buy direct from manufacturers. I've bought many things from them (cables, adapters, headphones, etc.) for almost a decade and their stuff is always high quality at stupidly low prices.

The $6 earbuds are totally worth it

I've bought quite a few things there over the years...no complaints and I would recommend them. Best place for cables and other stuff and I'm a tech geek so I'm getting cables, adapters, etc all the time. Their pricing on TV wall mounts is insane if you compare them to the ones you see in best buy, etc. I have 6 of their mounts (various models) in my house and they are all great quality. They supposedly make some nice monitors as well but I haven't had the need for one so have not tried one.

Bought lots from Monoprice, even our I.T. department at work uses them. Can't beat the prices and surprisingly good quality stuff too.

I buy all my cables from monoprice, great stuff.

I think Best Buy and the like stay in business solely on over-priced cable sales.

I've been buying stuff from them for years. Mostly cables but I do see their converters and distribution amplifiers regularly. I also own an SDI-HDMI converter (had two, but one had a connector break, and it eventually stopped working), which travels in my tech kit and I use on a lot of my jobs (it's in use this week as a matter of fact).
