Anyone for UK made brackets that stop Gen 2 screen vibes? Will Post World wide

I have now sorted Aluminium brackets which will stop the majority of the vibes when mounting satnav's etc. on the Gen2 Accessory bar

they will work with or without winglets fitted

£18 including UK post for a kit....

£22.75 for Worldwide post including USA

You have the choice of spraying them black or leaving them plain aluminium... this is what the kit looks like once sprayed, they will come to you unpainted ....



Brackets will work with or without winglets

Not sure if they will work on the Gen 1 Mike, i'll have to research it ... Depends on the screen bracket mounts ::008::

I'm not sure either honestly, I can see how it might work, the angle to the madstad bracket from the middle of the two screws would interfere with the winglets, but a piece of steel from the front hole to the crossbar bolt on the madstad bracket would work.

These can be fitted either behind or the outside of the winglets on the Gen2, I've not had a chance to check out a Gen 1 bike as yet, I was at a Yamaha dealers yesterday and they didn't have one......

I've made the first 3 pairs and will be posting today.... I have will have TWO more pairs by tonight if anyone is interested 8)

Thanks Bryn. Arrived and fitted today!
I am planning subject to weather and other stuff riding my S10 to Leicester and then on to Wales on Friday/Saturday. I'll let you know how the brackets fair. You are correct in that they really stiffen up the accessory bracket when you push-pull it. Cheers again for all the effort.

Only asking as I couldn't see how to fix the support arms on the outside.
