Any southern / south-western counties' guys out for a short ride on Saturday afternoon at all? I was thinking of Salisbury plains for a bit of a spin or any suggestion close to Wiltshire / Berkshire / Hapshire. Thanks

Busy this weekend but maybe some other time, I am near Oxford and normally run around the lanes of the Cotswolds, Wiltshire ain't far for me.

Never done any off-road, but if you can guide me down the simplest of tracks where road tyres will be OK then I am up for it, although I have needed a boat to go anywhere over the last 3 months and it is still pissing down now.

I don't plan on doing any serious off road work this time, just hard pack gravel . So, road tyres are fine. However, its white chalk/quarry stone stuff, so, don't expect the bike to stay clean ! If you google SP9 7JT you can see some of the roads around salisbury plains. I plan to be there ( SP9 7JT ) around 12pm midday, so, if anyone wants to join me for a hour or 2 of exploring , more than welcome.
