Any tall riders out there? I'm 6'1" and took the bike on a 325 mile journey yesterday and I got a little uncomfortable at times. Im looking at some risers, but not sure on foot placement as well I've got 33" inseam.

Anyone else tall out there and how do you feel ergonomically? Leg room, etc? I guess I'm used to bigger touring bikes and positioning, so I look forward to hearing from other tall riders out there. Maybe I'll get used to it. Thanks!

6'4" S-10 & FJR, I find both work well for me. Goldwing's and big Harley's kill my knee's when sitting or doing parking lot stuff. While moving with my feet under my butt my lower back is good not so on the low seat stuff.
34 inch inseam.

Now, don't get me wrong, 6'1" is not short....but I don't really consider it tall either. And, 33" inseam is definitely not long legged. You and I are built very similar; I'm 6' with a 31" inseam. I use the low seat setting, and am comfortable; but can't put both feet flat on the ground at the same time. I would think that if you use the high seat setting, you would see similar results. There have been plenty of guys on the forum though that have rigged up some hi-way pegs on their crash bars. You might just be having "growing pains". Good luck.

I am 6’2” with 33” inseam and I have toured on my SuperTen with the seat in both stock, (low), position and with the seat levelled out after following instructions on this forum. Both have been very comfortable with the levelled out position edging it for me. I have never suffered aching knees or cramped legs unlike just about every other bike I have owned. My bike is stock apart from the levelled seat mod.

I'm 6'2". Have installed bar risers and have seat on high-setting. I recently completed a 14hr 1,400km trip in one sitting (I just love riding - which is needed in Aus WA as everything is far) without any issue. I also stand when slowing down for towns along the way.

<snork>

That was my first reaction. Someone who thinks 6'1" is tall didn't grow up in my hometown.

6'5". 33 inseam.
My stubby legs (for my height) mean that I'm good with the seat in the high position. A little peg drop is nice, and I had SW Motech pegs in the low position for a few weeks before I trashed them. The additional room was welcome.

My long torso means that there is not a windshield made that will throw air over my head, so I just deal with it.

Bar reach sorted with Pro-Taper ADV High bend, before which I ran 2" Rox risers.

The S10 stock ergos are probably the most forgiving of any bike made today. I've only ever sat on one bike that felt like it fit better stock, and that was a GSA with a tall seat.

6'7" with 36" inseam here. I use a stock screen with a flip up fitted and it works fine with mirror extenders for buffeting. As far as ergos go, I run the seat in the high position, I've had 2" added to the seat height plus a small lift on the rear suspension (10mm or 3/8") and I can still flat foot it with the ES on max preload...! I have 30mm bar raisers too. It's now reasonably comfy but I am looking to find some lower foot pegs just to give my knees a bit more room from the side panels. I need all the butt to peg distance I can get!

6'5" 36" inseam. Still looking for perfect seat but have done cross country rides on s10 stock seat and windshield and it was ok. Sargent seat is better and in line for Terry seat. Would like risers and highway pegs but overall its fine stock.

6'4" long legs, about 35" inseam. I have 30mm bar risers, Sargent seat in high position, SW Motech foot pegs in low position with rubber inserts removed and a Madstad windshield setup. I also added a Wunderlich adjustable shift lever for my size 14 boots. This is about as comfortable as I have ever been on a motorcycle.

I'm the opposite of you. Only 6'0"" height but 35" inseam.

Raising links, modified shock, higher Moose seat in high position gives me a 36" seat height and a little extra ground clearance. Stock windshield in lowest position gives me calm air 2-3" above my helmet. I did add a Madstad to gain the cross bar but keep it in lowest position and same angle as stock. Have never considered any other windshield. Perfecto!

6"5", 36" inseam. Tallest Parabellum Shield works for me and I added one inch risers and put some highway pegs on my skid plate to stretch.
Last year I did an Iron Butt Saddle Sore and every now and then I would just sit on my passenger seat for a few miles to stretch. That would be my perfect peg-to-seat geometry, but generally I am pretty happy on the bike.

Great feedback, I really appreciate it! I'm going to keep playing around with it as I like it's performance and hope to tour with it. Again, thank you

6'3" 34' inseam. I made these hiway pegs out of diamond plate.
They clamp on the altriders. They will bend in with no damage and bend back out.

I'm 6'3" with a 33" inseam. To me the bike fits me like a well made glove. The only reason I start to wiggle around on longer rides 150+ miles is because of the damm seat. I have added some more foam a made a new cover. It's better but not perfect. For me this is my only problem with the bike.
