Hey! Good to have my question answered, you could be right about the T7, my wife also thinks the T12 is a bit to big and heavy. She’s attracted more to smaller and light to handle bikes. Enjoy your S10!Pardon this ol' lady's absence from this thread, been winter so I haven't been keeping up. I feel most welcome and accepted here, seems like most of the S10 riders are pretty sane and reasonable folks, sorta like the BMW folks I hang with a lot, 'cept our S10s don't break down as much. As a rider of the female persuasion the only hassle I've had was from Harley riders and a Buell online forum was the worst- Those guys spend more time talking conspiracy theories than motorcycles! As to why more women aren't riding S10s, I suspect the S10's height and weight have scared some off. BMW seems to be attracting a lot more women riders even though the boxer GS is just as heavy by the time you add the spare final drive, etc. to the saddlebags, but they offer low seats and have lighter F series GSs too. Perhaps Yamaha's new offerings like the 700 adventure bike will attract more female riders?
isn,t the T7 taller in the saddle than the s10 i,m 6 1" and was on tip toe on the t7 in the show roomHey! Yeah it is but nice and narrow, and since my wife is 1,84m that won’t be an issue .isn,t the T7 taller in the saddle than the s10 i,m 6 1" and was on tip toe on the t7 in the show room

he has a 1250 gsa as well that he rides with mates that have the same bmw, bought the t7 for a second bike but didn,t like it after a few rides with his 1250 bmw mates so swopped it for a new 900 tracer whitch he likesWat trading it in that fast! Tracer is a way different machine. Would like to ride it an afternoon, hopefully next year.
Welcome back. I could only remember the "grrrl" part of your stage name. Now, do you have the purple bike, or is that someone else.Pardon this ol' lady's absence from this thread, been winter so I haven't been keeping up.
na,That’s some expensive miles.. didn’t he do a testdrive? Sounds a bit like a hasty decision. Well on the other hand, there is gonna a very happy rider who gets a “new” bike and a discount! Would be perfect for me.
Stefan
