Anyone know if an existing Yamaha model's rear wheel will bolt up to the Super Tenere? I would like to have two rear wheels, one for a K60 mounted and one for a Pilot Road 2. Pretty big job to switch tires just for a short ride. I know some GS guys have both spoke wheels and cast wheels and keep different tires mounted.

So, anyone know a solution besides buying another spoke wheel?

No there are no other bikes with this same hub spoke combo... The stock wheels are expensive too.... I would like to see if Yamaha will sell just the hub, then we can lace up some Excel rims, or even change wheel size to accommodate better "road" size tires... Like a motard wheel set... Just need the darn hubs....

That's good to know... Stadium Yamaha are my buds... The rear hub as a swap is probably close to $300'ish and then the spokes and rim.... Would be nice to have a quick set to throw on............ Keep in mind the disc.. you dont want to pull those on and off... That's another $150 or so... Front disks are about $160 or so,, but didnt look them up..

Yeah, I would want it to just be a simple swap with disc included.

True, but if you get the spoke kit, bearings and the rim the price goes up. Course sending just the hub to Woody's is gonna be more also.

Rim = $291.72
Spoke kit = 67.34
bearings = 26.22 & 12.60

Total = $617.01
