Ok I must admit I have used my Gaz equipment till I have no more gas left, been refilling the canisters but hey it's a PIA and the die hard Gaz Guys still feel the same way!!
So a little thinking went on in my head as Colman bought out Campingaz U.S. and then pulled the plus soon after, leaving us with no more canisters.
I like to tinker especially with anything Fire related.. Noticing the Peak one screw on the canister stove with the red plastic shroud looks very similar to the Campingaz Twister 270PZ gas stove with the old discontinued Easy click and twist fitting.
Since Colman bought Campingaz U.S. could it be the parts will fit?
Well Hell yeah they do!! ::013::
For those who care continue..
Even the black knob cover seems to be covering over a familiar blue Campingaz knob.
One thing to note to use the lanterns you need to swap the jets from your Gaz lantern valve to the Peak 1, they fit.
The Campingaz stoves use the same jets as the Peak 1 stove comes with. As long as the Campingaz burner or lamp stem screws to the Jet housing it will work.
So far every Gaz and Campingaz that has this stem works, 270 Turbo, Globe Trotter all the lamps.
Just the heads up, the puncture canister stoves are useless with this valve, the burner heads will work but the pot stand legs are part of the old valve assembly.
The only puncture canister stove that does work is the Globe Trotter the pot supports are attached to the burner heads.
