Hi there, I'm about to seal the deal on a 2016 Tenere ES - been searching high and low for one - I'm in New Jersey coming off of 2 bikes which are now on Craigslist: 2007 Kawasaki Nomad & 2002 Honda VFR 800.

The bike for sale is pretty stock, 2200 miles asking $11400 - about 3 1/2 hrs away from me in MD.

Thoughts? Seems like a good price to me, could use some experienced opinions.

I finally threw my leg over one in a showroom recently, and I was on tippy-toes without boots, 31" inseam.

Thank you.

grace n peace,
Eusun

I paid more than that 6 years ago for a standard. (of course, no ES back then)

So, you know my likely opinion of that deal. 2 Thumbs up.

I too have a 31" inseam, and I am 6' tall. Hence the nickname "Silverback". Well, that and a 495lb bench press. I usually plant my left foot flat, and keep my right foot on the brake. It gives secure footing, even when my wife is climbing on the back seat. I don't think you can beat that price either; not too far past break-in.

We can go check it out for you if you want. Checkswrecks, dirt dad, me, and a couple others are in the area. I have a 30" inseam and about 16k miles on mine with one tipover due to not paying attention to my feet (also super loaded down). It's really not bad at all and very balanced.

Thank you Dave, what a tremendously kind offer... but that will not be necessary. I am finalizing plans for pick up and will soon join the ranks of ST owner! I'm ridiculously excited!
