Another loose bolt.

So I've seen a thread about various nuts and bolts coming loose,
Today I notice a nasty rattle, thought it might be my keys up on the tripple but instead i found my hand guard rattled the nuts off the bottom bolts and was just vibrating on the bars.

Add this one to the list of things to check.


Never dropped it, 2 months old 2600 miles on it.

Just putting that out there.

For some reason the loose bolts on the left handguard is common. Just tighten and be happy! ::001::

After riding from Florida to Massachusetts, I pulled up to an old friends house and the first thing he notices is the bolt on the left clutch lever just about to fall out. The nut was gone on the bottom. Interesting that others have had the exact same problem.

So far that was the only bolt ( bar end bolting into the weight) come loose fell off, the handguard kept it in till I noticed it, then pulled it off, went to dealer where they took a bolt off of one in a box and put it in properly.

Noticed my Clutch handlebar end bolt had been consummed by a michigan road...stopped off at Ace Hardware and picked up metric 1.25x60 mm bolt and stainless steal wash for $1.79...I'm good to go for another 20K miles. ::018::
