I was able to raise the front of my stock Super Tenere seat by about 1/4"................made a difference for me and takes about 10 minutes.

1. Drink a bottle of wine and save the synthetic cork used for many of the bottles.

2. Slice off two 1/4' to 3/8" pieces of the cork.

3. Find two small self tapping screws with washers.

4. Find two 6mm or 1/4" flat washers.

5. Remove your front seat and remove the 10mm nut holding the latching point from the front of the seat. Install the two 6mm or 1/4" washers between the bottom of the seat and the latch. Snug up the 10mm nut and the seat is done.

6. Install the two slices of cork with the self threading screws............install them on the top of the moveable seat base that snaps onto the top of the subframe. The attached pictures show where they are located.

7. Re-install the seat..........may take a little pressure. And, the front of the seat has been raised about 1/4"

I have riding with the seat slightly raised in the front for about 5000 miles and it is a cheap effective modification that can be returned to stock if you don't like it.

I did this mod and rode today. This made a real difference. I did it a little different, and used two chair fiber chair pads on each side. I have my seat in the low position and placed the pads on the low part instead of where you did.
Works great. Thanks

I'll try this on the weekend, I hate the way the seat dips to the front, whats stopping me from going higher then 6mm?
The stud that the catch on the seat fastens to is only so long. That too can be worked around with more wine of course. ::008::

I am little disappointed that the wine I drink has Real corks, are you perhaps bringing booms into the wine category?

I think it is important to note that step 1 is an excellent way to include your wife or girlfriend in the modification process. Paying off short term ;) and long term, Just sayin. Especially for anyone who just needs a bit more motivation try this mod.
