Hi all!

I was having some technical issues with my KTM A990 I rode to the dealer to get things fixed and rode home on 2012 Tenere. This is the bike I should have bought to begin with, smooth, comfortable, a real pleasure to ride.

I would not mind getting together with other folks to do some mild "adventure" riding this year.

I have been riding for 18 years, almost cruisers exclusively. My other bike is a Victory Vision. I bought this bike for commuting and the occasional daunt down mountain dirt roads, maybe a trip to Alaska. But really what I am looking forward to is less and easier maintenance. The KTM A990 is an awesome bike, but its quarky, and maintenance intensive.

Welcome Kelvin to the area.

Jeff here from the Issaquah area. I am the organizer of some meetings usually in this area as we have 15 or so Tenere owners around these parts. There is another forum member planning on coming over to my house either Fridayt evening this week or Sunday afternoon for me to install his heated grips by Yamaha. Welcome to the madness and Congrats on your purchase.

Jeff

Hi Kelvininin ... glad you found the Tenere. KTM's are cool in their own way shame it wasn't for you. Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find plenty of willing fellow riders to go mild adventuring with. :)

Welcome to the group. I'm down in Longview. Looking to do the same as you...some easy going adventure rides this summer. As it stands, I'm hoping to ride a few sections of the Washington Back Country Discovery Route.
