From the article...

"Unfortunately, our Super Ténéré was delivered directly from the German press fleet without the benefit of post-flog service, and it was badly abused. Both the fork and the rear shock were blown, the front wheel was bent, and the rear wheel had two missing spokes. Handling was clearly compromised, but even making allowances, the Super Ténéré still seemed outclassed. "

Seriously?, what a joke!

I found the article value more in the Alps trip and the US connection for the many Stateside folks on this site.

I pay little attention to reviews of machinery, before the switch to the KTM I found some group tests would say it is awesome off-road and shows the KTM motocross heritage, and others saying it is a tall sports bike and crap off-road.

The S10 will never shine alongside lighter / more powerful / far more expensive bikes being tested by someone who has the benefit of spanking a bike he does not own for a short period of time without having any concerns over purchase price, running costs, reliability etc.

The amount of electronics on most of these "superior" bikes scares the crap out of me, how much would the electronics for Ducati's Skyhook suspension cost if it fails? (Or any of the other mega high tech active stuff out there
