Yea, I've heard a lot of pro\con on the AMA. And no doubt, some very elegant well thought out ones.

But here's mine:
I'm sure they could do a better job representing me. But I didn't give them but a tiny amount of my money. Maybe 1 Mexican food meal for me & the wife.

Heck, if they just trip over an issue that benefits me, it's worth it.

And any other organization that will compete with them, can get a Mexican dinner from me too.

Not to mention free reading material, some discounts at my favorite flea bags, and towing.

Growing up riding dirt bikes in Southern Ca. the AMA was the only organization fighting the environmental cronies closing down the desert faster than the speed of light. We lost tons of acreage to milk weed and fringed toad lizards but the AMA won a few too.

Anyway haven't used their tow service but I like knowing I have it. Keep them on speed dial on my phone and the added bonus is they get any butt dials I do since they start with A in the address book.
