Guys,

Just wanted to let you know that if you're in the Pacific Northwest and heading to the Seattle International Motorcycle Show, you need to drop by our booth, #447. We'll have the Tenere there with our prototypes installed, so you can check it out in person.

Otherwise, you're going to have to beg locals like Hoebster to visit and take pictures for you. ;)

We'll also be hosting an open house Saturday night -- if you're in town, please RSVP on our website and come down.

Yes, we'll definitely be at the Cleveland show, but unfortunately we won't be able to bring the Tenere. We can only bring it to the Seattle and Long Beach shows.

But look for us in Cleveland -- in fact, create an account on our website (and fill in your address) so we can invite you to a get together we'll be hosting. It would be great to meet you.

Just got these prototypes installed...

More details about the crash bars on our website. If you're going to the Seattle or Long Beach IMS, you'll get to see them in person.

i'd like to put in a recommendation for crashbars that mend the bottom of yami's crashbars around the engine with the protection that SW Motech has around the side and tank........

Gazie!
I second this.

Those bars look heavy. The top back I think should come up alittle more to follow the lines on the cover. Just my 2 cents

We're a little slammed over here getting ready for the Seattle IMS, but wanted to answer your questions.

Hoebster -- yes, we're planning to have the skid plate and luggage rack installed at the show. Look forward to seeing you -- are you coming to our open house on Saturday?

Hannabone: thanks for signing up -- we will be at the Chicago show! Just make sure that you've filled in your address in your account, so we can identify who's in the area (if you need to do this, log in, click "Your Garage," then the "account info" tab. On the left hand side, you'll be able to click a green button that says "edit" under your contact information). The name is great -- can't wait to help out the SinisterRaven! :D

I would have to see these in person, but tend to agree with the above statement.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out to the show and say hey. Great show, and we're glad we got to meet some of you.

Had the only dirty bike at the show, but we wanted to take a ride with all our Tenere parts installed... what could we do? ;)

AltRider Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z: off road riding and accessories

Jeff, it was good to meet you. Glad you liked the look of our parts.

Hannabone, our crash bars just got pricing (one inch stainless, $348.43) and are available for pre-order. The pricing for other parts is being finalized.

Fredz43, thanks for weighing in. Our bars will have a few minor mods before going into production, but we'll keep you guys updated with pictures as we can get them.

Heya Jeremy,
It was great to talk with you, Christina, and the rest of the Altrider crew on Saturday. Thanks for taking the time to go through each and every bolt and bracket on your various kit for the Super Tenere. It all looked great and, from the discussions with you and your crew, it is obvious that you all share a passion for the company and really thinking through products before bringing them to market. The sneak peak of your Friday's ride footage (now posted above) was fun, too. Sorry I couldn't make the Saturday night shindig due to my outbound flight. Looking forward to getting a few of your bits for my future bike and the continued product innovation for various bikes in the future. Your off to a good start, so best wishes for the new company.

Here is a shot of your Aussie Super Ten on stage Saturday:

Jeremy is your company working on a way to mount some highway pegs to your crash bars or by others meams?

Nice crash bars, Jeremy. !'' diameter tube-great! I'm a big fan of stainless steel, having worked with 304, 309, 316 and the high nickel alloys for several years. Can the side covers (electrics and radiator), be removed with the crash bars in place? Looks like a sandblast finish. Am I right?

Mike B: right now, we aren't developing highway peg solutions for this bike. We're always interested to hear what parts people want, but that one isn't on our development schedule at the moment.

Jakeboy: thanks, man. The crash bars allow for the glove compartment to be accessed, but not the removal of the radiator-side side covers. Good call on the finish -- bead blast is how we get the finish. Right now, though, the bars have a Washington mud finish. ;)

Jeremy, I may speak for others on this, but was wondering if there might be a possibility of a "package deal" on an order of skid plate and crash bars or something there like?

Jeff, that's something we'd really like to be able to do, but at the moment our budget is too tight. We're working hard to use the best materials available and to manufacture everything here in the US -- but it means that our own costs are high and there's less room to offer deals and discounts in our first year.
