I plan to use my S10 for 90% highway with a few forest service or gravel roads thrown in. I'll rarely travel overnight but do make long runs when I go & have a bad wine habit to support so saddlebags are a necsessity! My wife is usually aboard & has a 36" inseam so leg room for her is an issue. Also, no offense but I think aluminum panniers are ugly! I understand the need for some riders.

I'm thinking of Givi bags in the 33L size with quick release brackets. Any photos or suggestions would be appreciated! ;D

I've had good luck with Nelson -Rigg soft luggage on my Wee-Strom. You'll have to figure out a stand-off for the right side no matter which bags you buy.

Thanks Mike! I do like the looks of those panniers too. But I'm kind of leaning toward a matte black set of monokey style bags. I like the V35's but I don't think they make quick release brackets for the S10.
