I’ve been wearing the Gaerne SG12 for about ten years now. I believe they have saved me from at least two broken ankles and possibly a severe injury to my right foot. These have been separate incidents over the years. I’ve been extremely impressed with these boots over all these years.

My sand dump with Steve and Doug last year was a painful wake up. Bad sprain or more, but I never got an xray. I did find one of the Forma heals was separating, so the explanation of need went better with the wife.

I love it when I find a great deal on new boots! I have the same Forma's and I love them for road riding, but for offroad I always default to my Garne Fastback Enduros.

I have the Gaerne Fastback Enduro Boots also, and love them!

I wear Leatt 5.5 Enduro boots and I do love them a lot. I gave up on waterproof touring/ADV boots last year after a second or third pair leaked after a year of use. Since my feet are getting wet, might as well do it while they are protected.
