This won't be exciting for most of you but it is for me! :) After much searching, found a valve cover gasket online - the last one in stock - had to have it shipped to a US address (OEM Rules). I picked it up on July 1st and got just about everything back together this morning (with help). what a relief but it was a real pain to get it all seated right. Out of time for today - just have the throttle bodies, air filter and gas tank to put back and I'm riding again!!!! Good for another 42,000 km.

Appreciate all the great advice I've received from this forum.

Anyone working on their bike is exciting to us ..... and giving/receiving useful, helpful advice is what everyone is here for. Keep on going .... I want to hear that you're done and have got back to riding rather than fixing. ::008::
