I have had one for a couple of years and use it on my FJR anytime I will be in the saddle for an extended time. They are cheap (like me) and work great.

I like mine. Adds just a bit more comfort and doesn't look too bad. I like it better than the whoopie cushion, Airhawk.

Love it, moved mine over from my Vstrom. Takes the edge off and breathes better, even in high heat.

Have them on both my bikes. Does that mean I have a herd?

I have used them on other bikes and had a pillion one that I tried briefly on the Tenere. It didn't seem to help as much on the Tenere, but what I really didn't like was how the front would flip up every time I would stand up on the pegs. If you do order one, see if they can make some kind of front strap to keep the front down.

Gotta have it here in SW Florida to prevent the seat from scorching my butt when bike has been parked in the HOT sun! Have been using them for many years.

I use the same Alaska sheepskin cover on the S10 and FJR. it aids in the comfort on the stock seats.

I had one on the DL650 and it saved my ass more than once. ;D

I put it on a couple of rental bikes and was happy with it.

I just put one on the TR650 Terra. Haven't ridden it yet with the cover.

YMMV.

I was doing a 600 mile day , started out with the sheep skin and loved it for about
400 miles . I removed it for the last 200 and was impressed with the stock seat .
I think changing the pressure points was the difference . Sheepskin is a nice
alternative , you can switch back and forth .

I concur, having an option to change the seat a bit on a long ride helps with comfort. The sheep skin works best when kept clean. It also holds a fair amount of water.

I bought one to use on a trip to central mexico, it saved my butt, literally. I had the yamaha gel seat on my fz1 and i would get hot spots from the seat, after about an hour, with the sheepskin we did a 10 hr day and my butt stayed nice and cool.

I usually take along a bead rider when I tour, it keeps my arse up out of the seat puddle. Sheep skin goes over the bead rider on clear days but is removed when rain is in the forecast.
