This is the Airhawk Cruiser R Large, installed on my Super Tenere seat. I've been using the same size on both my V-Strom and the S10 for around 80,000 miles now, and I've been really happy with it. They changed the material they made the bladders out of a few years ago; it used to be neoprene rubber, and now it's a very thin polyurethane. I had my doubts initially about its durability, but so far its holding up really well.

Here is mine. It looks almost like the large. I still have the original bladder about 15 years old. I just replaced the cover a few years back.

Chris,
I like the way the medium (14x14) fits the contour with less hanging over the sides. The R-Cruiser large (14.5 x14) has the nice cut outs for groin, but as pictured seems wider where thighs go and hangs over more. I ordered a medium.
I had a cruiser small (12x18”) that’s prob 12 years old, but too long and is an improvement over ST seat but hoping the medium works better.

How did the medium work out for you in the end?

I use the large cruiser one every other fuel stop, to change the location of the hot spots. I never tie it down. I'm good for about two hours that way.

These Air Hawk's are lifesavers for guys like me who want to hop on a bike after months out of the saddle. I can do an easy 500+ mile day and not be butt hurt!!

Well I have had my SuperTen for just over 2 years now. I have levelled the stock seat, which is an improvement, but I really think I need to get a Touratech or Sargent seat. I have done many long 400 mile + days and sooner or later I get the dreaded butt-burn. I really think it is getting worse each Time I go out for a ride now. I would like a Seat Concepts seat but Her Majesties Customs Officers kill us on tax and import duty, so I guess I will have to get a new seat! I have an Airhawk and and Alaskan Sheepskin but I think a new seat would help.

You are more than welcome to give my Touratech seat a try if you want to.

I'm 6'7". The stock seat gets uncomfortable for me after 100 miles. I ordered the Touratech High Seat, but it is on backorder. I got a Sargent seat, but it is shorter than the stock seat. It isn't any more comfortable, IMHO. It does have different pressure points than stock.
Touratech USA says that long backorder times might mean an item is going to be discontinued, but I'm not going to cancel my order. IDK if the regular or short seats are on backorder...
In the meantime, I'm alternating with the Airhawk pad from one break-stop to the next.

Thanks for the offer yoyo, I may well take you up on that, I live in the Swansea valley, so not too far away I think. Adventure Bike Shop are advertising these seats with a couple of weeks lead time.

I'm down in Birchgrove so not too far away. I'd be trying Adventure Bike Shop too, as much as I like to support local businesses anything I've ordered from Touratech has failed to arrive and I've had my money back. It's a shame when they are right on your doorstep.

How tall are you? Asking because the Sargent is really made for big guys as it seats you pretty rearward in a pocket. You can't sit up toward the front because it's hard. Had Sargents on my GS and AT and they worked well, but not on the S10. Haven't read anything bad about the TT seats...

I am 6’2” and about 175 lbs so about 190 lbs with riding kit, I had a Sargent on my old R1150GS and it was pretty good. I have also had a Corbin in the past and sometimes it was perfect and sometimes I was wriggling around after less than 1 hour.

Here is something that may be of interest to you all. Touratech seats are made by a company called Kahedo in Germany. I just looked up their website and Kahedo closed down on 01/01/2020

We say goodbye Dear customers, We have closed our manufacturing operations since January 1st, 2020 and say goodbye at this point.
