Givi works well for me but I don't care for the design that much. I'm trying the tall touring screen to compare and will get back on this. 5"11" 34 inseam.

Got the 24 inch Parabellum. Better than stock but could be improved a little by trimming for full lock clearence and low setting clearence. Can't believe they wouldn't do this at the manufacturer end before shipping. If you order one be sure to specify this option. I called them and they said they'd pass on ifo to their designer. We'll he wasn't paying attention.

I am thinking about a taller screen, but at 6'4" I am going to get a lot of wind no matter what....and it has occurred to me that I just might be the right height so that I am actually taking clean air off of my melon. I thought I might try the adjustable brackeys first so that I can toy with the angle and height

The tall touring is Yamaha?

Thanks Tim
Sorry for the late reply! Yes the tall touring is the Yamaha one. I like it and will keep it on. I've installed it on the second highest holes. The Givi will be a spare.

I had the adjustable Kappa Airstream windscreen put on my S10. This was just done yesterday, so I can't really comment on its effectiveness yet, but it seems like a slick system.

I put on a Cal Sci windscreen for a summer and found it - just OK. In a wind it acted like a barrier and the front end felt like it was being pushed around a lot. Helmet buffeting and corresponding noise was not pleasant either . I was always comparing it to my old Concours which had nice protection and near noiseless cockpit. Then I went back to stock and enjoyed that more for most of this past summer except again when the wind is up you get tired of holding on as the wind pushes you back. Ok for short trips but could not see staying stock for a long trip.
Saw an MRA x-screen at the winter bike show in Toronto. Gave it a try and its a really good compromise. Tried it in many combinations with the Cal sci windshield and ended up cutting the cal sci down and permanently attaching the x-screen. In the end the overall height of the combination is the same as the uncut cal sci but now I can lower it if i hit the trail. It seems the air gap solved the problem of the giant barrier being pushed around and the adjustable angle of the x-screen pushes a lot of air over my helmet.
