Central and South America 2013 / 2014
Tabasco look forward to meeting you at Rem's 2012 and start getting the Central / South America logistics worked out.
My tentative departure date October 2013 Halifax, Xmass in Ushiaua Argentina (Begal Sound), return to Halifax April / May 2014.
I am hoping my wife can join me in Santiago Chiile for a week in the wine country.
If there are others interested come forth.

I don't mean to divert the purpose of this thread, but Santiago, Chile, is one beautiful city! If you take the drive from Valparaiso (the coast), to Santiago, you'll see some beautiful scenery through the vineyards. Lots of places to stop and take it all in. Incredibly beautiful, lush and alive. I travel "nowhere", without a pair of binoculars.Salty said:

I rode solo in MX this past March and April. Not one bit of trouble. If you check ADVRider you will find similiar experiences. The danger in MX has been overhyped by CNN and Fox News. If you wait for the cartels to chill out you won't be travelling in 13/14~TABASCO~ said:
