My 1000 is in the process of becoming a full on racebike/trackbike so I needed a good solid street Sportbike to pick up the slack.

Doesn't get any better than this '11 GSXR750 with some add ons and only 784 miles on it. Brand new basically and I got a super price on it.

First thing I've done is get rid of those horrible Bridgestone BT016's in favor of Michelin Pilot Powers. Next I have a MJS mid pipe coming so I can cut the CAT off and then tune my ECU with a proper custom map. Then I wait for spring.

That's a sweet looking bike. Still reckon the GSXR 750 is the best of the Suzuki range. You're gonna have some fun on that bad boy. ::008::

Man, I had a ton-o-fun meter that was pegged when I rode mine. Loved that machine (did an SS1000 on it). Gratifying machine in every way; well, maybe except for creature comforts ...

::001:: Nah, my track was I-25, I-80, I-15, I-70. Still a pretty sore puppy when done tho.

Congrats on the good buy on a nice machine! I am trying to squeeze out the last few miles of the BTO16's on my N1K, not a fan of those tires but I have to get my $ worth out them.

I got it covered. Actually back in '06 I had a 1k on track then went back to the trusty 600's. This '11 1k I am currently building is going to be special. I'll post something up once I get it finished. Right now it's a frame and a motor sitting on stands. Once my suspension gets back from Thermosman I'll get a rolling chassis. Bodywork is at my painters getting spruced up.

I am going to do a couple of trackdays in March and April to shake down the 1k then grid it up in WERA in the big boy class come summer. WERA will let me come back under a novice status under "evaluation" but once I pass that I get my Expert status back.

I know but so was 600 novice years. Good god it was crazy then and it didn't tone down until I got 600 expert and there was maybe 10 of us on a given weekend. I get ballin starts so I'm first to T1 usually and then I'm as wide as a semi at 160 lbs lol.

CAT is gone I killed it tonight. 750 just lost 5 lbs. FI responded ok but a ecu tune is coming asap.

Finished product

That R77 Yosh can is a good sounding pipe. Not loud until it gets in the 10k plus rpm range. Real classy mellow sound up until then.
