ACD Skid Plate difficulties on left side center stand bolt.

When I removed the nut on the left side center stand bolt I discovered the bolt won’t back out because it hits the exhaust system directly behind it. I’ve tried every angle possible, removed the center stand springs for wiggle room to no avail.

Any tips on how to make this work? Thanks in advance.

I seem to recall just using a punch and a hammer to drive it through, scratches on the cat be damned. It is easier to do the whole thing, removing the old bushing, installing the ACD bushing, if you loosen up the whole exhaust system. It's also a pain to install the new bushings if the spring is still hooked up.

Well after having a second set of eyes on it and offering no solution I just hacksawed the last 1/2 inch of the bolt off and pulled the rest out. I was afraid to damage the cat and loosening the exhaust system is beyond me so I chose destruction over adjustment lol. I have the rear bracket attached loosely and I had to wrap it up for the night. Looking forward to finishing the job Wednesday morning! Thanks Don!

Strange..
I put on my centerstand some days after delivery, and it was "plug and play"
The exhaust might have "moved" a bit..
