Hi, like an idiot I accidentally (I think) overfilled by not RTFM.
I saw the drain plug to the rear but didn't see the one at the front that I would've seen if I'd read the sticky.
So I put in about 3.3 litres plus a new filter. Luckily, I haven't done any high speed riding, with tacho not going over 2500 rpm due to local traffic riding, about 30 miles.
The first I knew about it was the sticky, then when looking in the sightglass I noticed the nice new red oil was very dark, clearly having mixed with whatever was in the front part of the sump. No oil splashed on the outside of engine, haven't checked around air filter either.
So, how likely is it I did some damage, and does anyone know what capacity the front plug chamber holds?
I remember when draining from the rear plug it didn't look like 3.4 litres had come out of the bike, but in fairness, I didn't measure it.
