Hey guys
with 2013 models other pulling ABS fuse, does center stand and second gear work for you to kill ABS? This trick doesn't seem to work like it did on a '12. The light blinks and that's all. Once you are rolling again ABS is on. Did they update something?

Even on my '12 I have to run it a lot longer than expected to get the light on full time (disabled). Blinking is just 'trouble', not 'disable'.

I remember on my 12 i put on a center stand, slap it into second gear, run it for about 10 seconds and boom, done deal, ABS light stays on until the bike is restarted. On a 2013, the light is ON (disabled) when you start the bike and then when you ride off the light goes away (enabled). So this trick no longer seems to work, probably because Yama learned about it and made an update, my guess. But all its doing is just blinking. The longest I tried it for 20 seconds, doesn't do shit. The minute you pull the clucth in and toss it into neutral the light turns steady ON and then when you ride off it goes away.

I've got one word for you: ABS off switch. ;D
Yeah, it's really simple to do, cost is about $5, and it is switchable (off) on the fly. Can't do that with the centerstand method.

Is there a thread with instructions somewhere (my search foo is failing to find it) or would you mind doing a quick write up/decription?
