If I move my hard cases from my V-Strom to my S10 should I remove stickers from the BRP and Dagons tail that I got while on the Strom?

I say it's the rider that matters. So if you were the one who did the riding then they're yours to put wherever you like.

Yes you did the riding. Agree. It's not about where the bike has gone, it's about where you have gone.

+1 - I had to think about it for a second, but I agree. It's about where the rider has been, not the bike. ::008::

Damn - I knew I should have moved my stickers from the strom when I sold it. Now everybody is going to think THAT GUY has been to those places.

Actually I tend to think it's the bike that matters ...

I agree with the rider idea. It's the person, not the bike. The bike was only the means to do the adventure.

I solve the problem by putting all my stickers on a wall in my stable! I really don't like stickers on MY bikes, but I enjoy seeing them on other peoples bikes.

Go Rod! I haven't seen Sticker One on any of your vehicles.

My choice, also, with one exception, my MIA sticker. I'll never forget my brothers and hope other drivers/riders won't either.

So far I like the look of a clean side on my cases, but I had a lot of stickers from the Vee. Decided to keep both and put the stickers on top.

The Strom has two little dragon stickers that can only be purchased at the Deal's Gap Lodge. They refuse to sell them on their web sight, you atcually have to go there to get them. I will remove them before I sell it and I won't be putting them on the S10.

I did have a dragon (from The Dragon) on my last Wing. That's the last sticker I can remember having on any of my vehicles.

What about Iron Butt bling? I have a Bun Burner under my belt but on a previous machine. I haven't had a chance to do something like that on the Tenere yet

Again, seeme IB is about the person - not the machine (unless of course you did it on a 125cc scooter). I have a dozen or so 1000-1n-24 rides under my belt, but have never even bothered to submit paperwork on any of them over the years.

Yeah, I know several riders like that. And I wouldn't go through the trouble just to document it unless I was going somewhere anyway. Plus the 1500 miler seemed like a good time to do it and get it off the list of things to do. ::26:: Austin, TX to Key West, FL was 1570 miles. Nice ride in the winter months. I probably won't document another.

I had stickers on my KLR for Alberta Dualsport, GS Challenge and BCBTR6. The BCBTR6 sticker was on a pannier and came off easily and is now on my S10 pannier. I left the other two on the KLR when I sold it as they were on the bike plastic. I don't know if the new owner kept them or not.

I now have a few stickers from the Yukon ride on my S10 panniers but I'm not really big into stickers and I think they might all come off soon and go on the garage wall. I think that's a great way to keep and display them (assuming you're not interested in showing off on the road). I'll keep the little Yukon Tuareg dude on my windshield though.

This discussion reminds me of the badges and so on we had on our flying suits when I was in the Air Force. One of my buddies never had anything except his rank and when I asked him about it he told me that a persons ability is inversely proportional to the number of badges he wears. :))

The Dragon stickers are the ones that did not make the transition to the S10 for me. I've acquired a bad attitude about that touristy road. Much too popular for me. I'm weird like that.
