I don't know enough about all these abbreviated trails names, was that Colorado?

That was Colorado. Most of the area they were in is easily accessible from Ouray.

So I just spent an hour on their (TouraTech's) site looking at the different video clips. The Colorado BDR (Backcountry Discovery Route) is their own moniker and not a named trail anywhere. There are also Utah and Washington BDRs that the Touratech folks have completed. They have maps and waypoints and of course stickers if you want to follow their routes. Looks like they have full length videos of the previous two rides (Washington and Utah) and after looking at the trailer I may just be compelled to pay retail. I will definitely look forward to the full length release of the Colorado video.

Looks like Ouray (town they came through in the end) area of Colorado, back country trails up to the higher passes... Imogene, Engineer/Cinnamon. Surrounded by Telluride, Silverton, Ridgway, Dallas Divide.

Ohhhhh, I thought that this was a review of like State fairs..... I was going to say, our Mascot burned down this year. If I wasn't on dial up I'd sure like to see that vid. I love the Ouray area!

Definately fair and from the sound of it he rather enjoyed his self. At least they didn't show us a puddle of oil. Finally someone gets off asphalt without the factory skid plate. ::008:: I'd like to give that route a go as well as some others. From the video it looked alittle more challenging that the CDT. I'm so looking forward to Ouray in 13 ::012:: Hope we have a good turn out and get in to some of that

Nice review and nice pics. It wasn't a add for TourTech in that they weren't pushing sales too much more than producing the video - found that nice for a change.

Glad to hear him mention that the ABS worked flawlessly in the dirt and did not need an off switch like the inferior system on bmw's bikes. I did some gnarly off roaring in Colorado this Fall and was very pleased with how the abs saved me from myself on two occasions. If I had it turned off I would have wiped out.

Great video, great route.
I've ridden about half of that route just this past summer on my Tenere.

We ARE going to have sooooo much fun in Colorado this coming summer!!!

So when he jumped that bike (and we saw it again in slo mo), did anybody else cringe? I would think that that would blow a fork seal, it looked pretty violent.

Don't know how often it will do it but there are plenty of jumpin' teneres out there.
