This was my day yesterday. Showing up at the dealership in a car and leaving on a new Tenere.

Video shows most of the 1000 pictures taken at a rate of 1 per 10 seconds. I didn't realize it would stop recording at 1000 pics. But it got about 1/3 of the ride home.

Nice pictures.. Could you tell me what shield you are using? From the first camera mount it looked like you looked over the shield quite a bit, but in the last few frames it looked like you were looking through..

How do you like the shield shield compared to the stock one. I like my stock but get some buffeting. Not really bad, but enough to notice.
Thanks

MRA Vario Touring screen. By itself it was not sufficient. Added in a screen adjuster (I have Wasp) and it was perfect.

I've never ridden with a stock screen without an adjuster (even on my first S10). Just could not make it work for me even with the Wasp adjuster.

Really? Black? ;D
Larry tried but couldn't find a blue one for me. The dealership 5 miles from my house has a blue one, but that's the same as saying a dealership in South Africa has a blue one. Neither would do me any good.

pretty cool mate - I've been thinking I should try a time lapse on the contour roam - I thought it would give a sense of the entire ride, without the viewer having to sit through the entire ride... or without me having to do a whole lot of editing to make it interesting. Thanks to you, I can see my theory was correct! ;D

Not sure if the Contour has a limitation on the number of frames - but I think not, it just keeps going till the card fills up, or the battery dies.

I had lots of battery and memory left. The photo count stopped at 1000. I attempted to restart numerous times. Guess I should have set it to maximum 30 second intervals. That probably could have gotten me home.

I like the multi shots like that. ::008:: I have a GoPro HD and never did the multi thing with it. What camera were you using?

Congrats on your and your wifes new bikes.

So I guess you will be running sweep now since you are on the black one. ;)

The camera is a Drift hd170 Stealth. That was in the 720 resolution mode. Also does 1080, but not in the multi-shot.

No sweep for me. My wife hates leading so I'm always up front. Good because it allows me to call out debris and other warnings in the road over the bluetooth.

Congrats on the new ride! (even if your wife has the cooler one) ;)

I really liked that multi shot, it was cool. I also liked the one bit of video tossed in there. Very cool concept, well done!

Thank you. I'd love to claim some great vision with making that video, but the truth is I ran out of photos and still had song left to cover. Glad it worked out.
