Sounds like a good deal... if you want a Gen1 Super Tenere. I ride with a good friend that has one of those ugly Tenere's. That is my favorite color for the Tenere especially if some gray and red decals are added.

I was able to pick up a new 2013 with Akropovic pipe, Yamaha side panniers, Altrider crash bars and Altrider skid plate for $11K out the door (including taxes, etc). About $3K in options were included. There are deals to be had.
In June of 2014 I picked up a new '13 with $1k in Yamaha accessories AND an additional year of YES warranty for $10,500.....No much of a decrease for the one in '16. O Must hold value better than I'd thought.... Still, they are a GREAT bike. Love mine (and I love the white color as well!). Yamaha panniers, side deflectors, Excel throttle lock, Admore brake/turn light, PIAA lighs, Mastad bracket with Parabellum windscreen, Myer custom seat, ADV guards and rear rack, and Yoshi pipe. Bike has been as reliable as a brick. Put in gas, change the oil and replace tires as they wear. That's it...Not sure I'd take $9,900 for mine right now ::015::
