Fixing to put a set of shinko on, was wondering what pressure folks were running. I'm about 200 lbs and the bike. On and off Rd pressures please

Used 33/36 for most of my miles but when loaded and on the hwy, I would inflate to 35/40. Never really needed to air down for the usual forest service roads I ride or for sand. If there was miles and miles of sand ahead, lowering pressure would be a good ideal.

The Shinko's have very flexible sidewalls so careful when running lower air pressure. I bent a rear rim with tire at 30 psi riding very rocky terrain.

I'm just a little heavier than you and ran mine 36/42. I have a tail bag with a few things inside that add a few more pounds.

Was excellent on pavement and dirt/sand/mud. I just burned through them really quick...lots of commuting miles on the highway.

Hmm, maybe I'll try a little more pressure in mine. I've been worried about the 33psi max stated on their website, but if people are running 40's with no problem, maybe i'm too low. Yes, the sidewalls are VERY soft.
