Howdy Folks ,
My wife and I took a nice 4th of July Ride on the Bighorns. We rode up Red Grade Rd. all the way across the Bighorn Mountains , then stopped in at the Elk View Lodge for a cold drink. Then we got back on the bike and headed down RT 14 to another dirt rd ( I believe it was mountain Rd. 17 ?? ) and rode way back in there. It was beautiful !! But it started to thunder and lightning out and we could see the rain wasn’t far off , so we rode back out and headed to the Elk View Lodge for their $9.95 all you can eat 4th of July BBQ . While eating the sky’s opened up and it rained hard with a little hail mixed in.
All and all it was a very nice ride. We rode 167.7 miles that day.

P.S.
I don’t have a Go-Pro camera and we keep our digital camera in the top case while riding so it doesn’t get ruined with dust. This means I have to stop and get off the bike to get the camera to take pictures. I don’t like to keep stopping for pictures , so these pictures were taken in just 2 spots. One of the Elk View Lodge and a few pictures of where we stopped to stretch our legs.
