4 prong connector under seat....what is it??

New to me 2012 SuperT

Found a 4 prong female connector that appears to be part of the factory wiring harness under the seat.

What is it for??

Diagnostics port, it should be wrapped in a small bag of sorts, leave well alone.

I agree it sure loks like a diagnostic port.

Was just surprised that it was wrapped in a lil baggie with elec tape and didn't have a proper blind cap or other sano setup.
Curious as Yamaha typically is more anal about things....especially something so important.

It is the ABS system diagnostic port.

No, you have to either connect directly to the ECU or take it out and send it away. Cannot be done through that port.
