Add a Tiger to the get together. Going to be there a couple of days early, and will be just up the road with my toy hauler.

EDIT - We only have short sleeves and a single color this year to keep the price at $25.

Here's the call to order a shirt for this year's event and blue is the only color. Despite inflation we are holding to the same $25 price as last year. Any profit from the shirts will of course go to the Potomac Center. They do good things and the grass most of us will sleep on is theirs.

Inhouse Bob retired and left the business to his daughter, Jody, who will be making them for us like last year. So again these are the same top quality shirts as in previous years.

To order and as in every previous year, send me (Checkswrecks) a personal message (pm) to ask for my email address. We use PayPal only as payment till we get to Romney.
In your pm MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE:
(1) SIZE for each shirt
(2) your email
(3) YOUR REAL NAME TO TIE TO THE AVATAR NAME
(4) IF adding anything on the side for the charity, please let me know how much that is.

(A donation is totally optional and up to you. The amount is usually clear from how much people send, but it can get goofy when people order more than one shirt.)

When I get your pm I'll pm back with my email address to send your PayPal payment to. When I have the size(s) you want from your pm and the money is received, I'll send you a confirmation email.

We usually made a few extra shirts for walk-up people who miss this pre-order. Those go really fast and we don't want to pay for unsold shirts so there won't be many and usually only the first people to arrive get a chance to score one. To keep things simple on site, they'll be $30 in cash which also promotes ordering early. Again, everything we take in beyond the expense of having the shirts printed will go to the charity.

ALL SHIRTS WILL BE PICKUP ONLY and I plan to arrive at Romney with them on Thursday evening. If you pay for a shirt, are a no-show at the event, and pm me then we MIGHT-possibly-maybe be able to sell your shirt to get your money back to you. Or hopefully, you could pm to tell me to sell it to somebody else and you donate your $25 to the Potomac Center charity. The times we haven't sold all of them, we donated those to the kids and the smiles were awesome.

Time To Eat

We are getting a request to provide the Ruritans an estimated headcount for the Saturday dinner. They are preparing a chicken dinner with two sides for $15.

So many of you already know the drill. Please give a simple post with the number of Saturday night chicken dinners you would like for your group. Please have only one designated person speak for everyone in your group. I'll start...

While Gunner won't be able to make because he's going on a trip elsewhere, he provided us with these awesome stickers to commemorate the event.
We'll cut them into individuals and as always they will be at the check-in table for as much or little as you feel like kicking in.

Thanks to Steve!!!

Looking forward to twisting my wrist on the Rocket 3 again. If I had some F U money in my bank account, that Beast would be in my garage. Last years demo ride on that machine was a smile fest in my helmet. I'll wait for a test ride on the Explorer 1200. Missed out last year as the amazing roads were calling me to go. This year I'll try to meet more you. See yous soon.

Welcome to Romney Camp N Ride Week!!

Sometime in the next few days, most everyone reading this thread will be pointing their bikes towards Romney, WV. Going North, South, East, or West, please, have a fantastic and safe ride to the event.

I look forward to hearing the feedback I always hear about those of you attending the Camp N Ride. Business after business, interaction after interaction, you guys leave behind an amazingly positive impression everywhere you go. Personally, I love being associated with all of you and good feelings you bring to this region. Thanks for joining us at the Romney Cycles Camp N Ride.

Just a few of reminders.

There is no charge to attend this event. For those getting the chicken diner on Saturday night there is a $15 charge. The onsite food is a big fund raising event for The Ruritan Club. They are all supporting us as volunteers. If you appreciate them, please do let them know.

Reminder, we are all honored to be here to support the incredible Potomac Center. The need is overwhelming, but the amazing outpouring of charity and giving from the Camp N Ride attendees has always been inspirational. Year after year, our group always come through with astonishing giving. Last year was over $4,000. Let's make this another record breaking year. If you've been here for the last couple of events and seen the motorcycle lineup with the kids, you already know how how special our Camp N Riders are to the kids. It's an experience. Please consider making a donation to The Potomac Center. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle go to The Potomac Center.

Everyone camping will actually be sleeping on Potomac Center property. Please be respectful and keep all 4-wheeled vehicles off the grass. Motorcycles are fine in the grass.

Of course, Romney Cycles does this event at no charge to the riders. If you appreciate their efforts, please let them know.

Have a great ride in everyone. Be safe and we'll see you in a couple of days.
