Had a dealer quote me this model. I’m wondering if it’s a typo. Does anyone know if the 2021 S10’s have engine braking management system similar to the 2021 YZF-R1?

Typo probably.
The United States 2021 is XTZ12EMB and the California version is XTZ12EMCB.

Note that the 2021s are all ES versions in the US. There are no variants.
