More fun to ride a slow bike fast.....that's why I love to wring out my SV650! I tried to buy a MT09, just too much, like a 2 year old colt.....

I had a XJ600 Seca-II when I lived in AZ. It was my commuter bike, but I used to love wringing that thing's neck in the twisties!
Was only around 60-hp, but was a fun bike to ride. Somewhere around 425-lbs wet!

This is why I buy used. A 2012 Super10 for $4k and a 2010 Ducati 1198 for $5k. One for long trips and adventure, the other for track days. That leaves me with $15k left over.

And I've still got the old Harley which is fun in it's own way.

Yeah, the good thing about Ducs is their value plummets. Great deals to be had on secondhand models.
