Love this picture. Where was it taken Boris?
Looks good. Would love to go back to France when I am finally able to get my bike, and we can travel
I know that area very well indeed! I have family a little further south, in between Martel and Souillac in the Lot region.
Cheers.Love this picture. Where was it taken Boris?
I keep my fingers crossed that I can do some of the trips I missed out on last year. First on that list is a month ride to Portugal and The Picos in May.Well, 2020 never quite happened for most of us. If the situation improves, what’s the plans for 2021?
Me, I’m hoping for a few days in Normandy and Brittany in May, then doing what was originally planned for 2020, riding down through France with a mate on a KTM1290 Adv, over 3/4 days in July, heading to Spain and the Picos, where we have a villa/house booked for a week, giving us plenty of time to properly explore the region. There a further 4 bikes meeting us there from the UK/ Santander ferry route.
I have big plans for Denmark/Scandinavia and perhaps The Baltic States in 2022.
You?
Hi mate, I'm not far from you. The current lockdown has screwed my plans to go up to Keighley and collect my S10. Looking forward to spring in the hope things will have settled down here a bit. Will hopefully be able to do a bit in the UK this year. Like you I'm not confident in booking anything yetI have to admire the optimism. From my UK perspective, currently in Lockdown 3 for many weeks, if not months yet, I find it difficult to even think about significant travel prospects back home, let alone around Europe. Perhaps it's me, being a grumpy old git, maybe a tad over-cautious, but I just hate the idea of making exciting bike trip plans when there remains such a high risk of them being blown away by a knee-jerk of legislation.
So I shall adopt a wait & see approach for 2021 & hope for opportunities to open up next year once the vax programme has been rolled out fully.
