2018 ECU location

Sorry for this one guys but where is the ECU on my 18es??

Is that it under the seat?? I didn't find anything under the side covers.

Weird.... I wouldnt think ECM placement changed between gens. Should be behind R/S panel. Kinda buried and more of a pain then it should be to R&R for reflash.

Theres a great write up on this forum about ECM R&R.

Search "ECU removal instructions". Great write up and pics.

I used member Anthony for my reflash. Quick turnaround.

ECU is in same location as prior years, buried behind the electrics panel under RH cover. Don't forget hidden screw accessed from fork side towards bottom of panel. Kinda of a PITA to remove until you've done it once or twice.

I found it.......right where it was supposed to be.

Now its off the 2wdw to complete my full arrow system...

My '18 has the 2WDW flash...fortunate for me they're only 20 minutes away. You'll like the bike transformation, enjoy!

Just fyi.... Even after reflash my S10 ran better with DB insert in on my full Arrow system.
