It probably would not be hard for Yamaha to up then hp by ten or fifteen. Same dependability, and that might stop a lot of people bitching about the lack of power. But, there will always be people who would carry on if the bike had 145 hp. Personally, my 2014ES seems to have plenty of power, torque, for an old guy.
Drove the new BMW GS Adventure and it was a nice bike. I just didn't see an extra nine grad out the door. I am very satisfied with this bike. Drove it from NY Colorado last year. Went up and down Then Blue Ridge Parkway...about six thousand miles round trip. Cruise was...wonderful! ES suspension worked great. Overall...it was a great ride.

If they offer active suspension it won't be for $16,190. Remember... many of us are from a KLR (frugal) background.
