hello, ok ive been on here for some years now and not kept up really, been busy working, touring, haha, so then im 50 years old this year and wanted to treat myself to a new bike, i luv my first edition 2011, shes amazing, and currently at 54,000miles, well im thinking about buying a new s10 for my 50th, i have read up on quite a lot of stuff but it would be nice to hear from someone who has upgraded from an earlier model. bear in mind mine has had the ECU flashed (the first flash that existed for the s10) and arrow headers and remus end can, plus a power commander and auto tune to get the AFR's right.
like i say, if someones upgraded i would luv to hear theyre thoughts
cheers ,,,pete

Pete - why not have a look at Bryn's 2014 ES/ZE in the For Sale section - yes it's used, but cared for & ticks most of your boxes. Situated just south of Leicester.

Welcome back.

While there is nothing at all wrong with the Gen1 bikes, Gen2 is more polished and really are nicer so I've been glad to have upgraded. That said, I'd suggest waiting a few weeks to see if Yamaha is coming out with a Gen3 for 2017. We are about due.
